WATCH: WWII RCAF LANCASTER BOMBER MEN'S WATCH
On the 17th of May, 1943, a squadron of Avro Lancaster Bombers embarked on a daring mission to cripple the Germans. Now you can honour that historic event with this WWII RCAF Lancaster Bomber men's watch, a fine jewellery design exclusively from The Bradford Exchange. The Men's Watch features an oversized crown and numerals for easy reading. Sleek hands are inspired by WWII pilots' watches, and a comfortable genuine brown leather strap adds to its elegant character.
The red-toned face of this WWII Operation Chastise The WWII RCAF Lancaster Bomber men's watch is adorned with a detailed 22K gold-plated Lancaster plane design which "flies" above the exposed timepiece mechanism. A 22K gold-plated maple leaf is positioned at the 12 o'clock marker, proudly displaying Canadian pride. The casing reverse is etched with a depiction of a Lancaster bomber breaching the Möhne Dam with the famed Upkeep "bouncing bomb," along with the individual edition number of the watch.
Watch face measures 4 cm in diameter; leather band is adjustable to fit most wrists.
